Shipping container complies with UPS and D.O.T. requirements. The net weight of Ammonium Nitrate is 10 lbs.

Explosive grade Micro-prilled and porous for maximum contact area and absorption.

Since this is the expensive porous grade use in blasting agents it is not coated and it is porous. It is hydroscopic so it must be kept in air tight container until used.

Commonly used in: Exploding targets, Binary mixes, Rocket fuel, cold pack and fertilizer.

Works excellent for use with exploding targets like Tannerite when mixed with 5% fine powdered aluminum.

Also easily absorbs nitro methane so it can be used to make material to equal Kinepak binary.

Warning! If you are making exploding targets first make sure it is legal in you State and local. By making a AN/AL mix for exploding targets, you are making a high explosive. As of this writing there is no Federal law preventing most people from doing so for their own personal non commercial use. How ever you need to be aware that once mixed, Federal law will not allow you to transport the mix on public roads or public transportation under D.O.T. and other regs. Also you must use it the same day you mix it and can not store it over night unless you have an approved ATF explosive magazine.

No need to put the mix in a confined container to use as a target. A plastic baggie works just fine and may be the safest way to use it.

Please do not under any circumstances use the mix in a metal container as it could through pieces that can be deadly. Also it could be illegal to do so as you could be accused as constructing a destructive device.
