Resorcinol is known by many names and used in many every day products. Resorcinol is a naturally occurring substance but is also produced synthetically on a commercial bases. The product we offer is a high purity of 99.6%. Reagent Grade. If you require a higher purity, it can easily be dissolved in benzene or toluene then recrystallized.

Resorcinol is a white flake solid that becomes pink on exposure to light if not completely pure. Burns although ignition is difficult. Density approximately 1.28 g / cm3. Irritating to skin and eyes. Used to make plastics and pharmaceuticals.
